Oil on Paper

January 8, 2012 by Laraine Armenti, visual artist

One of my goals in graduate school is to become more consistent in my painting process. Daily oil on paper paintings are done before or after sustained paintings. Small and quick, they are a way to capture a ephemeral or fleeting experience. Time spent painting on paper took the place of drawing in ink done earlier in the semester.
