Sorting a few year’s worth of work in January had the benefit of revealing links among disparate media in ink, graphite, gouache, and oil painting. With a new set of photos, I completed two applications that may yield opportunities later in the year. The photographs are also part of an evolving restructure of this blog, collecting work into categories under tabs at the top of the page. Investing in and learning a new camera is expected to pay off in the long run.
I enjoyed seeing three shows in Portland, Maine only a two hour drive north of Boston or easily accessible by train.
