Newton Exhibit

November 6, 2010 by Laraine Armenti, visual artist

vermont ridge; oil on linen mounted panel

My contribution to Icons + Altars at The New Art Center is an oil painting called Vermont Ridge. This is my fifteenth year participating.

The event is FREE, open to the public, and really fun. The way it works is 100+ artists contribute small works; 100+ flat rate tickets are sold. Artwork is chosen by new owners as their ticket is drawn from a hat on the last day of the show.

Opening Reception & Viewing: Friday, November 12, 2010, 6 to 8 pm
Closing Reception & Ticket Drawing: Sunday, December 12, 2010, 3 to 5 pm

The New Art Center, 61 Washington Park, Newtonville, MA.
