ABOUT THE ARTIST
Laraine Armenti was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1958 and grew up in Concord, Massachusetts. She studied etching and painting at Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 1980 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She went on to study the figure in oil, charcoal, and watercolor. For more than 25 years, Laraine worked as an illustrator, graphic designer, and art director in the computer industry while continuing to paint. Her work is shown in Massachusetts and is held in numerous private and permanent collections.
