New Site

I am pleased to announce the blog Laraine Armenti Art has migrated from being hosted on Blogger to being self-hosted with WordPress. This change creates one location for both the blog and website — www.larainearmenti.com.

My website was established in 2002 primarily to display an online portfolio of oil paintings grouped by year. The purpose of the blog is to show work as it is created with the focus on process and sequence, to record the development of my art work, and to share the creative process with like minded folks. My first blog post went out on June 23, 2007. All of the content from the original site has been reformatted to this one. Posts are published once a week with images of artwork and occasional short essays on my interests in art history.

Readers and subscribers should automatically arrive at the new blog address. If there is a problem, here is the url: www.larainearmenti.com/blog.

Subscribers should receive new posts automatically. If not, please visit my feed to re-subscribe at http://feeds.feedburner.com/larainearmentiart.

I hope readers will follow my progress on this blog, facebook, and in the studio. Thank you for your comments, both online and in person. Keep painting!
